Is osteopathy reimbursed?

Osteopathy is not reimbursed by the compulsory health insurance, but most health funds provide a contribution through their supplementary insurance. It reimburses, as an indication, around 10 euros per session, for a limited number of sessions per year. The exact amount and the number of sessions vary by health fund and by package.

Ask your own health fund for the precise amount, for example the Christelijke Mutualiteit, Solidaris, the Liberale Mutualiteit, the Onafhankelijk Ziekenfonds or the Vlaams en Neutraal Ziekenfonds. They can tell you how much reimbursement you are entitled to.

After your visit we provide you with a certificate for your health fund. With that certificate you claim reimbursement through your supplementary insurance.

How can you pay?

You pay for the session afterwards at the practice. The following payment methods are possible:

How do you cancel an appointment?

You can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours in advance. For a later cancellation, the reserved time is charged at the standard rate, because that time can then no longer be given to another patient.

You cancel an online booked session via the link in your confirmation email. In other cases you cancel by email.
